Neal Brothers in Berkhamsted created us a bespoke donation box for use in Waitrose, and their very kind help was invaluable!
Berkhamsted dry cleaners. The team have been an incredible support this year. They have been tirelessly washing all our donated soft toys and costumes, ready to be gifted to families.
Open Door is a community and arts space on Berkhamsted high street where you can be active, creative and social, whatever your circumstances. Helping tackle social inequality and isolation is at the heart of what Open Door does. They enable everyone to connect and contribute, for their own wellbeing and that of the wider community.
Grants & Funding
National Lottery Community Fund
We are delighted to have been awarded funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to help support our work in our local community. Their funding has helped us to establish the Toy Hub charity and has paid for print and advertising. This in turn has helped us reach our local community to build support through donations and volunteers as well as reaching those who need our help the most, this Christmas. The National Lottery Community Fund distributes over £600m a year to communities across the UK, raised by players of The National Lottery.
Dacorum Community Trust
We are so delighted to have been awarded a grant from Dacorum Community Trust. Dacorum Community Trust is a small, independent charity serving the Dacorum area since 1976. They provide practical support for local people in crisis, acting as a last resort when the assistance they need is not available elsewhere.
Hertfordshire Community Foundation
We are delighted to have received a grant from Hertfordshire Community Foundation. Hertfordshire Community Foundation is an independent charity which encourages local philanthropy. They provide advice and giving options for donors which they transform into funding and support for small charities, voluntary groups and individuals in Hertfordshire. By making local giving easy they strengthen our local communities and improve the lives of vulnerable people.
Magic Little Grants
We are delighted to have received a Magic Little Grant through the partnership between @Localgiving and Postcode Places Trust. Postcode Places Trust is a grant-giving charity funded by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. Localgiving is the UK’s leading membership and support network for local charities and community groups. Toy Hub received £500 to help ensure that no child in our area goes without a gift to open on Christmas day. We will use this funding to fill the gaps in our donations, allowing us to relieve some stress for local families this Christmas. Thank you to the players of @peoplespostcodelottery for this fantastic grant! #magiclittlegrants https://localgiving.org/magic-little-grants/ https://www.postcodeplacestrust.org.uk https://localgiving.org
